On Sarah Palin...

I have been telling everyone I see that Sarah Palin scares the living shit out of me.  Everything she stands for:

Christian Right

Anti-abortion

Teaching abstinence to teenagers (to ensure they get pregnant should they decide what to do what their bodies want them to do)

Forcing a 17 year old boy drop our of high school to marry your daughter (great idea, he’s gonna marry your daughter, good not to have an education)

Making comments about the Iraq war that we are there doing “God’s Plan” (can you say Jihad? Great, she’s an American Terrorist)

The more I read about her the more I think she’s a scary bitch, and to think if McCain is elected, she will be President should he take a crap out (have you seen the guy? He’s not lookin’ so good).

The most disturbing thing about her that I just can’t shake off is how she took care of herself and her unborn baby when her water broke in Texas while she was 34 weeks pregnant.  No mother in her right mind would have done what she did, especially one who was 44 years old with 4 other children.  http://www.adn.com/626/story/382864.html is the article describing the situation.  This is something I expect from a 14 year old or someone who uses methamphetamine and doesn’t want to get caught or something.  I was discussing the situation with someone at work and she pointed out that Sarah Palin was probably hoping that baby would die (since it had Down Syndrome) and her doctor, who advised her to go ahead and take not one, but two flights home was in on the deal.  Ah-ha!  Why didn’t I think of that?  It’s the only thing that makes sense.  Sarah Palin didn’t want a Down Syndrome baby, but since she is anti-abortion she couldn’t have an abortion to take care of the unwanted situation, so what’s the next best thing?  Do nothing, and hope for the worst.  I see it didn’t work out for her, Trig was lucky and held on, and wasn’t born aboard an Alaskan Airlines flight over Canada.

I just can’t see any other explanation for her actions, she is supposed to be a smart woman, and her doctor…well, is supposed to be a doctor and knows better than to advise a para 4 woman to fly halfway across the Northern Hemisphere with broken bag of waters.

So this is why she scares the shit out of me.  I want to be able to choose my destiny, I want my daughter to be able to choose her destiny.  I don’t want anyone making laws for the rest of the country based on what they think the “Invisible Sky Daddy” would want them to do.

Vote Obama, not that you needed this to convince you.
